BIG NEWS: GOING TO SUBSCRIPTION
🕑 Added 2024-08-14 14:51:52 +0000 UTCI asked Patreon to convert this page from pay-per-post to subscription a year ago. At that time they said they couldn't do it. They JUST reached out to tell me the CAN now, so it's happening, and fast. This came about due to the Apple IOS app changes - they will no longer support this format, plus they will charge extra for Patreon access, so if you're using that app, drop it now.
So, what does this mean for all of you? You will still be billed on first of the month, just like normal. The cost of each tier will be equivalent to what it is now (I post 6 times per month, so cost is 6x current tier):
PUP: $6 PER MONTH
WOLF: $12 PER MONTH
ALPHA: $30 PER MONTH
Again, this is exactly the same as what it is now. Any new members will be charged as soon as they sign up and then billed again every month subsequently.
Basically, it all stays the same as it is now, but makes everything cleaner. This is what I've wanted for a year, so this is great news. I think it makes everyone's lives simpler. I'm working with the Patreon team right now on when this will happen and will keep you folks updated.

They assigned me an individual assistant for the transition. It seems incredibly simple, but I'm just going over it all with a fine toothed comb. I don't want any hiccups. My goal is to implement this by tomorrow.

Turns out that they're actually getting rid of every other format of billing, so they're enforcing the change to all creators over the next months. But from what they've announced, you could make that change right away by simply going to https://www.patreon.com/settings-creator/payout I was assuming it was that simple, but you may have additional info that reveals it's more complicated?
