VINTAGE CON SKETCHES: Another 2002 potpourri, folks!
🕑 Added 2021-11-26 14:00:07 +0000 UTCWellp, as November winds down, time for this month's dose of Vintage Con Sketches as I continue scanning from a slowly dwindling binder of photocopied commissions from the early 2000s.

Most of the pieces are self-explanatory, but a few words on several of 'em:
I generally didn't do much nudity on my con sketches, but this first piece was apparently an exception. I don't think this is a specific character, but rather a Generic Topless Chica.
Lobo and Rob Zombie were fairly straightforward (if admittedly rare) requests, but the fourth piece...
...is, I think, a commission of a villainess from a Johji Manabe manga, though I'm not sure which one. UPDATE: The manga was Caravan Kidd, as translated by Studio Proteus and published by Dark Horse in the 90s, IIRC.
The fifth piece is of course the immortal Tank Girl, but I strongly suspect I already scanned the piece a while back on the other PC (long story, folks) and posted it a while ago. Just in case, though, I scanned and posted it a second time:

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Monday will likely see another Distressed Damsels post for the $5+ tiers as I continue serializing a commissioned "Rose & Lily" comic from the same era-- and drawn on the same linen-finish cardstock as these con sketches, too!
I'll probably work up a quick "Coming Up in December" Patreon overview post early next week; also, the Biggest Spenders can expect their Monthly Exclusive Bonus Post on Monday or Tuesday, which will likely feature a preview of Empowered vol. 12's "Horror Movie" scene, assuming I can finish the g-d pages in time. Stand by for zombies, Cowboy Hat Ninjette, and the not-so-shocking return of Fetchingly Bepantsed Emp!

Well, you won't get the full FBEWBE experience with the EMP12 horror-movie scene due to a tragic lack of eyeglasses, but yeah, drawing Fetchingly Bepantsed Emp is definitely a refreshing change of pace.
