TL;DR for July!
(OH, also, I know the audio quality on this is a little rough, I'm still learning this new mic lol)
π I'm sure most of you know that the US has been having some crazy weather issues this summer that are causing damage and creating a lot of unsafe situations. My town has unfortunately been under an unofficial state of emergency for the last few weeks because of this (I know I said things were improving in June but all the bad weather returned even worse in July). I've been doing a lot of volunteer work since part of my professional background is in crisis services. So between starting a new job, helping around town, and trying to make sure I and the dogs have access to food, water, and electricity....it's just been a lot. Also, the people who own the house I live in decided that now (after over a year of me begging) was the perfect time to do massive repairs so my house has been under construction for about a week as wellπ
TL;DR for 2024?
π Well, I got back from my vacation and got Covid for three weeks. Then my phone broke. So I started using an old phone and that one broke. Then I ordered a new one and it was also broken. Then I had to go on an emergency cross-country road trip and got sick again. And then my laptop broke and then my mic broke πππ. My dogs also needed about 3 vet visits each over the course of 2 months. Sooo I also started working again so I could afford all of this lolπ
π And with all the physical and mental demands of the year, my health tanked and all the progress I had made was basically gone and I was in a worse state than I had been in like 9 months. And, if I can be honest, I'm still really fighting with anxiety and depression on the daily. I'm sorry it's been hard to communicate that (especially considering this is a Girlfriend ASMR channel and not a personal blog lol) and for disappearing. I really am working on finding my goblin spirit again, this past year has just proved that we can't rush rest, recovery, processing, or progressπ

I'm going to continue uploading as often as I can. I promise I'm not quitting yet, just moving at the speed of ADHD π

Haaai Gosh, I will never again call myself unlucky, because nothing would be comparable to what you've had to go through this past year. You really had to piss off some god of bad luck, or make an enemy out of a very competent witch. Thank you for still being with us, you're amazing π The mic sounds fantastic and the volume is perfect π If you hadn't mentioned the voice change, I wouldn't have noticed it at all.
