๐จ Project Update โ Why Your Patience Matters (and How You Can Help!)

First off โ thank you again for your incredible support! The response to SteinWipe and SWMC has been amazing, and there have been so many good conversations happening in the Discord which are shaping the next release of SWMC. Itโs been truly humbling to see so many of you diving into the project, testing, and pushing your machines to the limit. Your enthusiasm is what keeps this project alive.
That said, I wanted to address something important:
๐ง Right now, my focus is locked on completing the brand-new SWMC core and updating Feb.15.1 โ Feb.15.2 into the first stable release of the project โ targeted for the end of this month.
This is a major milestone. It not only moves the SteinWipe listings for P1 and X1 out of beta, but also introduces the first wave of SteinSwitch Definitions โ a smarter, more scalable way to configure everything in one place. Even better? It lays the G-code groundwork for something potentially even bigger than SWMC by integrating with future Python-powered scripts.
But with growth comes a real challenge:
My time is getting completely eaten up by repeat questions in DMs โ often things that are already documented. I truly get it โ SWMC has become a large, fast-evolving project, and the info has been scattered between posts, videos, and Discord chats. I understand how frustrating that can be.
But every โWhenโs the next release?โ or โWhat does this setting do?โ takes away from the hours I need to write code, test features, fix bugs, and push this project forward for everyone. And with a deadline this close, I have to focus.
The good news?
Weโre nearly at a point of clarity. This release will define the new standard of how SWMC works โ and for the first time, I can finish the full documentation and start creating in-depth video content that wonโt be outdated a few weeks later. This is the light at the end of the tunnel weโve all been working toward.

I've been crazy busy the last week and haven't had time to post here on the discord but I just wanted to say how much of a game changer this whole project is! Not just with the wiper for my P1S (The new version of the install guide made it so easy by the way!) but also with all the tweaks that have made some prints that would fail into total successes. Couldn't have done it without you! So I would say please feel free to go silent on the discord until the release is done. I know how tempting it can be to want to reply to everyone who is coming in, but your priority is to do what everyone else can't! Let the discord community answer each other and handle the influx and you can pop in from time to time (or just set a scheduled time each day for you to appear and answer questions) because that can be so much less disruptive to your workflow than having to constantly get in there and respond to people. Your project works. It's been a game changer for so many people. So you don't have to justify its existence or hold people's hands. They're in the 3D printing world. It's time for them to figure this stuff out anyway! So focus on what you need to and let other people fill the gaps. You got this!
