This ARCANE edit about JINX is a MUST WATCH
Reacting to an Arcane edit all about Jinx by one of our very own Patreon members. This is honestly amazing to watch and manages to convey so much from the show.Link to original video on youtube so you can experience it how it is meant to be:Jinx
The Last of Us Season 1 Episode 6 REACTION
My favourite episode...so far.
Arcane Alternate Universe Livestream (Mitchell's questions) - Completed & video available
This is what Mitchell would like us to consider:Ekko/Jinx: Ekko painted OU Vi to show AU powder how badass her sister is in his world (which he discusses as “a dream he had”… this language is heard previously when Ekko first goes to AU Powder’s lair and she tells him about their innovator’s project “you had one of your crazy dreams”). Then when he had the chance to tell her about jinx (you were different in my dream too), he chose t...
Death Note Season 1 Episode 4 REACTION
Short but sweet here. Didn't have much to add to the episode other than my usual questions of how Light's motivations fall within narcissistic, anti-social, personality disorder/traits.He's clever though! What a great plan he came up with to get the FBI agent's name! What is he going to do with that information? Take him out because anyone opposed to his plan is 'evil'? Will have to wait until the next episode to find out!

The Last of Us Season 1 Episode 4 REACTION
It's The Last of Us Friday! In episode 3 we saw the story of Bill and Frank which was just beautiful. We saw Joel and Ellie's journey move forward with the acquisition of a vehicle which should make life a bit easier for them. And now they are back on the road.No spoilers from me in case you haven't seen it yet...but people....it's always the people.....
Livestream for 02.04.25 8pm BST

Wednesday live stream
Choose your preference for Wednesday's stream. The choices for next week will change to something more focused on analysis. Most likely the dinner party scene. The week after that will have other choices from the list that has previously been posted. This should start to balance having a 'reaction' based stream and 'analysis' based stream each week.

Here is the updated list. The season 2 soundtrack is ongoing. I'm considering the best way to prioritise. Do we think academic and educational live streams should take priority?

Some updates...
When I started the Patreon my plan (and expectation) was a slow build over the final year of my PhD. Test out the platform, see what interest there might be, get proof of concept to see how much investment it was etc. Then Arcane happened, and I never ever thought there would be so much interest in what I have to say, and the Patreon has grown far quicker than I expected! That led to a very quick learning process of what works, what doesn't w...
