Value Bases: This is something I’ve seen other artists do and have been dying to try. It can be done traditionally or digitally, with traditional obviously being a bit more tricky. Artist Tips: Blending with acrylic
I get asked a lot how I blend with acrylics because the paint dries so fast. I wanted to tip you guys off about my ultimate lifesaver which is this stuff in the picture- satin glazing liquid by golden. This is a medium you can mix in with your paint that makes it dry slower so you have more time to blend, and I swear by it. Painting first layers
Just wanted to show what the first few layers on a painting look like, left is the digital mock up for what this will be and right is the actual painting. I call this the ugly duckling phase because it does not look good and I usually tell my self very mean things during this stage. I wanted people to see it in case they every get discouraged during their art, everything starts out kind of wonky but it gets there in the end I promise! :D

How to photograph and edit your sketches on your phone
