Tractor sketches - TIMELAPSE + TIPS
Key things I like to think about when rapid-fire sketching for MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY:-Look for BIG+SIMPLE shapes. You can see this primarily in the pockets of shadows and cast shadows. Create clear, graphic shapes.-Simplify 3D forms-I like to break things down into more angular, geometric forms as it helps me more easily think about in in 3-Dimensional space, and in turn better decide where to convincingly place shadows and such!

This was a tough pose, guys!- I fought to find a silhouette that worked, as well as figuring out how to cleanly render the variety of overlapping shapes. In the end, cleverly placed shadows helped distinguish the overlapping shapes and push the receding ones back in space.Overall, I'm not superrr happy with this character, but it was a great exercise in rendering a slightly more complex pose.I've attached a GIF that breaks down the Flats>...

Try this exercise next time you draw! It can be done with any medium of course, but here I'm using Adobe Photoshop.
