It took some time but page 4 is here. This is another page I feel happy with. I think the colors were harmonious and the situation with the characters in suits makes it look like a real comic page XPBy the way. The dialogues on this page are more important than they seem ;-)

I know my taste for anticlimactic comedy endings isn't very sexy, but it's the spirit of this series =PThe first idea was to make him a horned chamaleon, but the face was too simple, so it ended being a pig.

Not much happen on this page, but it was necessary to settle that the world is bigger and there are things out there. Also, Bart and Bruce are brothers. You may remember that in the epilogue from last chapter Rorie has two portraits on the room. One was Bart's and the other Bruce's. So, when the family was presented with the portraits, the sisters drew lots to see which man each would marry. Rorie got Bruce, and her sister got Bart =P

Zeppelin port
Next page preview. Maybe it's not a thrilling thing make background (and take so much time), but most of the chapters so far have taken place in closed rooms (it is a soap opera after all), so I want now, at least in some pages, to show that the characters live in a larger, more complex world. I hope this chapter feels less claustrophobic =P

More designs for the characters yet to appear on next pages. Bart is back for this chapter and his role will be quite subtle but relevant for Phan's development. Bruce and Bart are quite similar, but Bart is a bit more fat.

First page of the Halloween mini comic of this year =PThe reference is kind of obvious -w- Cinderella is by far my most beloved Disney movie. It's old school, cheese and I'm sure most people find it boring, but for me it's really charming and heartwarming. I love the idea that if you keep kindness in your heart and are kind in the face of adversity, miracles can happen and life can smile on you again.
